    Description

    Beautiful lead crystal.  I have carefully inspected this item, found no scratches or damage.
    Original Mats Jonasson - Breaching Whale
    Approximately 9" x 6"
    Most Mats Jonasson pieces have something like:  "Mats Jonasson Sweden 3546" engraved on the bottom.   This one only says "S".  And the sticker on the front is different from anything I have seen before, most are gold, this one is white, and says Mats Jonasson Maleras
    .   Mat Jonasson worked for Maleras from 1959 - 1969, and then again from 1975 until he purchased the company with his workers in 1981.   Best guess is that this piece is from the 1975 to 1981 time period.   If you are more familiar with his history and have additional details, please share!!
