Mats Jonasson Crystal - Isbjörnsunge (Polar Bear Cub/Baby Polar Bear)  New in Box.  I bought this for a gift and it sat in a closet for more than 30+ years.

For sale is a Mats Jonasson full lead crystal art glass sculpture
produced as a part of his Treasures Wildlife collection.  Item # 88109.  This miniature treasure is approx. 1.75 " by 3.0".
This beautifully handcrafted quality crystal piece features a finely detailed and
incredibly life-like baby polar bear. The polar bear has been expertly modeled and deeply engraved, complete with frosted detailing, to the reverse side of the solid crystal block.
The detail on this piece is absolutely incredible with varying
transparencies of frosting accentuating the sleek form and adding a
fabulous sense of peace to the resting creature. The baby polar bear has a
sensational three dimensional form, contradicting the fact it has been carved into
a flat block of solid crystal. One cannot help but be drawn into the amazingly
detailed three dimensional world captured within the sparkling ice-like crystal.
This highly appealing example of Jonasson's amazing work is wonderfully composed
and expertly crafted. The polar bear is resting  on the snow and shows the sparkling ice-like textured sides beautifully frame the delightful
creature.
This quality lead crystal sculpture has a magnificent clarity and literally sparkles.
This exquisite lead crystal sculpture is in excellent vintage
condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. This piece has been very well cared for
and looks great. This piece comes in its original Mats Jonasson
black hard plastic case, and outer white paper cardboard.  The original black foam inner padding has deteriorated due to age... and I replaced it in November 2020. (mentioned for accuracy).
This piece is signed on the base with an engraved signature "MJ Sweden"
and also has its original "Mats Jonasson Sweden Full Lead" label on the front.
